I guess I keep leaving town when you come in, which sucks. I was here for the holidays but now I'm off to Switzerland with Harry until New Year, and then it's back to New York, but I just wanted to say that whatever kind of job you take, don't take one at Wolfram and Hart!
I'm earning some additional cash by helping with a security service, so maybe that would work for you, too.
Sure thing, whatever you want to know. Though I guess Harvard is a league of its own, no pun intended. If you come to New York, though, that would would be cool.
The Yankees? I'm strictly neutral as a Californian, plus it's way more fun to tease my boyfriend the locals if you pretend not to care, but I've heard some members of the team were recently beat up by hired thugs of the Sox, so I guess they really need new security!
Yeah, Harvard is in a class by itself, and it's a class without Buffy.
I was thinking of this place actually. My dad knows a guy on the board, and I figure at this point in my life, he owes me a favor. Also, Todd gave them a lot of money at some point. He's pretty sure I can start in spring, and if I get a part time job, he'll help me pay.
I guess it's kind of lame, and it's not saving the world or anything, but -- I dunno, it might help me be more centered. Plus, I hear nobody takes classes before noon, so that works with the slaying.
How are you at office work? When I visited Alan the other week, I noticed no one there is able to prepare coffee, so clearly they need some intern who can.
On a less catty note Also, Wesley's house is still standing around mostly empty, and I'm sure he'd be glad to offer asylum.
Actually, I think law firms tend not to hire people just for the sake of making coffee -- even Harmony had to procure camels or something. And I think I might actually have a few more marketable skills. But thanks.
*considers Connor's suggestion* Don't you work at a museum? Do you think they need guards and stuff? Plus, my mom used to run a gallery, so maybe I could double at the information desk or something.
Whatever, I mean -- I can figure it out myself.
But. Thanks. I guess?
As for the living situation, I'm trying to stay away from Council affiliations of any kind.
Hmm, actually, there has been talk about increasing security, and yes, I do. The Isabella Stewart Gardner. Let me know if you need a recommendation. I won't mention your well-founded phobia about fire arms.
You're welcome. And I see your point. Another not-Todd related living possibility would be apartment-sharing with Cordelia, of course; she intends to move here after the New Year, and I'm sure her husband wouldn't mind. He hardly seems to be around anyway.

And the security idea is a really good one. A lot better than what your mom came up with. I just met some cops, they might have suggestions.
Though if I want to move to New York, I think I might be able to get a tryout with the Yankees.

Well, just thank you.
Maybe I'll come down to the museum after the holidays. *hopefully* Will they be getting any new shipments that might be haunted?
