Today I had a good day!

A lot better than snowqueene who ended up going to the emergancy room and landing in kiddie crutches ^_- Though not badly hurt, she did manage to twist up her ankle something good.

So anyway, since Fantastic Four was a no go with her being in the hospital, I (being the concerned friend that I am) went to see Batman Begins. Oh. My. GUH! Absolutely BEST Batman movie ever! It even topped the Keaton ones! Of course, I have a thing for dark movies and DAMN was it dark! And I loved how they handled the Scarecrow in it--UBER creepy! Damn those psychotropics XD

So then Alicia gets out and she's going to be laid up for the weekend due to having to see an orthepedic on Monday. I went to see my nephews at the homestead and then swung over to Alicia's (who, unlike when I land on crutches, isn't taking knock-out meds to sleep it away heehee). Since she was concious and semi-mobile, I take her out for a movie. Which one? *laughs* Fantastic Four! So, it was seven hours after we were supposed to go, but we managed to make it none-the-less. I was absolutely blown away by it. Some things were in there for mere comic book geeks (like the still frames on everyone when the Cosmic storm hit), but it was honestly likable to the average Joe. Oh! And the way they worked in the original catch phrases like "Flame on!" or "It's clobberin' time!" was just great. Very natural and not comic booky at all in the dialogue.

And Jessica Alba's HOT.

Hehe, okay... Umm.. I think I'm going to read more on Good Omens now. Yay for the end of the world! :)
