So I was talking with asatotsuzukikun today and we were both wondering why we are still on LJ? I mean, since discovering the wonderful FREEness of 1000 icons over at GreatestJournal, why am I still here? The answer, for me, is that I'm here because I've always been here. I stay for the community that LJ offers, but I secretly use my greatest journal account to upload as many userpics as I want. It soothes my inner icon addict.

Your icon is hilarious, btw.

I too have a GJ, but I hardly ever post in it... I dunno, there seem to be less "friendly" people over at GJ in general, while here, it's easier to make and keep friends I guess :P

And come on, LJ rocks! :D :P

I've been here for five years and up until my wife got an LJ a few months ago and we started using nearly 100 characters each in our private RPG, I didn't have a need for more than three icons (since then, we both got paid accounts AND the extra icons but it's still not even close to enough.)

I think I made a GJ a long time ago, but can't remember what username I had. *weak laugh* I might go back and check it out if only for our RPG ...
