talk to her about what? I mean, I can't tell her what I write in my private posts. (Also, the recent one was locked to pretty much everyone, not just Kara. And the reason why I locked it wasn't because what it said about her, but what it said about, well, me and someone else. Contrary to what she thinks, I don't want to hurt her.) That's why they're private. Who would you feel if someone wanted to read your diary? (The real one, not a public journal or something.)
It's weird, you know. Because most of the recent secrets I had except for what happened in Ireland?? Kara was the one I shared them with. Like that bloody handpurse in Angel's house last Christmas or the time she thought she was pregnant or when Griffin had pumped Harry full of the green goo.
Hey, I'm sort of hoping for a big "cursed" sign. Those are the coolest.I mean, it's sort of my duty, right? Also, no, never met him. Cordy mentioned him a few times, though. He was the idiot who cheated on her with the girl who totally came on to Fred, right? And he did? That's awesome.
*Buffy wonders when she turned into the person that people say things to that they ought to be saying to each other. She has a vague idea that this might be what Willow's high school experience was like, and she makes a note to get Willow an extra-special present next time she goes shopping*
Tell her that. Exactly what you told me. You have every right to your privacy and what she's doing is completely over-the-top. Just. . .it is a sign that she cares.
*stops to wonder whether Spike goes over HER journal to see if any of the posts are locked against him. She dismisses the thought, because that seems completely beyond Spike's patience. She then wonders if Angel does, and just the thought of Angel figuring out the computer well enough to know how to do that makes her smile. As for Todd, she's fairly convinced that he logs on every day, scans everybody's posts -- and probably the entire Internet -- for his own name, then loses interest. And, that if he did want to know what was on somebody's private post, he would hire a hacker to get into it. She remembers Andrew Wells mentioning how he got his cousin, some guy named Marshall, to search a chat group for something called "Red Dwarf" and figure out if anybody was talking about him behind his back. She shudders to think what Kara would do with access to that type of power, then refocuses on the email.*
I dunno, Ampata seemed nice and all, but then she tried to suck all the moisture out of Xander's body. I felt bad for her, because she never really had a chance when she was alive. But still, you know the story. Friends in danger, slayage.
Back to Kara -- I do think you should tell her that but I wouldn't mind watching her squirm a little first. I wrote her back and said that you explained it to me, like I assumed that you explained it to her too, and we'll see what happens now.
happy archaeologizing -- you would look totally awesome in an Indiana Jones hat -- almost as good as River Phoenix
