Today and plants

So, it turns out that the crafting store that I mentioned in this post is not that interesting. It has stuff for a bunch of different crafts, but not very much for any one of them, Porter Square Books has more crafting books, it was really hipsterish, and it had scrapbooking materials, which I can't stand. Which craft store were you referring to? If you're talking about Spark, it's utterly useless, unless you are really really into beading. There's Minds Eye Yarns directly across the parking lot from Porter Sq Books. Lucy, the owner, is wonderful and will order pretty much anything you ask her to order. And her hand-dyed sock yarn is to dye for. (har har har).

Yeah, I was talking about Spark, and I totally agree with your description. Minds Eye Yarns is pretty neat, but I haven't been knitting much recently, so I don't have much experience with it (and I have a backlog of yarn to knit).
