This is just gorgeous. Brennan's method of distracting Booth is SO perfectly HER.
She doesn't answer him. She's pouring all of her focus into the contraption covering the table; turning wheels, sliding brightly coloured blocks... ensuring every part of it functions as it should and is worthy of their child. And Booth falls in love with her for the sixth or seventh time today.
Love, love, love.

This episode was just what the doctor ordered, wasn't it? I love how you've built on that, and how you added all those layers that make B/B so very much them in this story. It was wonderful to see how Brennan understands Booth so well that she comes up with the perfect way to help him, and that it leads to a competition which ends with both of them winning. They're partners, it's what they do - and I love how you brought that old mantra to life in their "new" life together :))

I'll have to hang on to the instructions e-mail I was given so that I can maybe repeat this LJ part next fic too. I must admit, I feel very fancy throwing around words like 'cut' and 'comm' :)

I've gotten used to ff.net by now, but I still prefer to read stuff here on LJ because it's just so much more interactive in many ways with all those shiny comment threads ;)

My favourite bits were these: Brennan misses the sarcasm. "I'm much smarter than Angela. And Hodgins." I laughed out loud literally here! So Bones-y! and And Booth falls in love with her for the sixth or seventh time today. made me feel all fuzzy inside, it's so true to Booth too!
And this bit was particularly them "My mom is dead." The words hurt, even now, but she manages to get them out. "I still miss her."
Booth nods. "Our parents are our parents, right? No matter how bad they screw up."
"We will learn from their mistakes. And Angela's."
Pitch perfect voices! Great fic! :)
