San Francisco Day
It was my birthday and we spent the entire day in San Francisco playing tourists. I loved and enjoyed every minute of it. Part of me wanted to celebrate it with other friends but considering that most of my friends were out of town because it was Labor Day, it was still a great day. We caught the bus and train to San Francisco early that morning. We first went down to Union Square and caught a cable car there to go to Fisherman's Wharf. He treated me to lunch at the Sea Lion Cafe at the wharf. After some more walking around the wharf, we went to catch the bus to the Golden Gate Bridge and tried to walk it. By the time we got to the middle of the bridge, it was getting windy and cold. He decided that we do not need to walk the entire bridge to get to the other side. Both of us were quite ready to get back to San Jose before it got dark. We made plans to go somewhere local in the south the following day.
