(no subject)
i just got back from panera with the cush because of our frees at the end of the day and it was treeeessss yummy. i had their new fuji apple chicken salad and you should ALL try it because it is simply incredible.
aside from that... i cant believe the biloxi trip has come and gone.
i want to wake up in our red striped tent tomorrow morning and see jess sitting up in bed right across from me and wilkie still sleeping in a lump on the other side, and see caitlin's bed empty because she is already making breakfast. i want to get more paint all over my jeans. i want to walk on the beach and watch the boys playing football and go on another secret mission with mina. (wink wink, anna...) i want to dig more trenches along the fence at the rectory and spend forever trying to figure out john's riddles. i want to sing "madly" with everyone. i want to play taboo! i miss it allllll.
i can confidently say that i couldnt have had a better april vacation, anywhere in the world.
the bad part is coming back and having to adjust to reality! i could spend another whole week there. the only reason i wanted to come home was because i missed my friends and family.
i keep thinking about james too, and his family, and how he is coping. he found out when we got back that his cousin had died while we were on the trip. ive talked to him about it and he seems like he is in such shock.. i wish i could do something to help him. :-(
im really glad jess got to come on the trip at the last minute. i absolutely love that girl. im so glad i became close with her. we have so many goofy jokes and memories now. its good times!
i miss ginger crying when we left and taking our addresses and knowing our names right away. and her husband alex who has been sick, i really hope he is doing better. and i miss dorothy smiling when we drove in and being so friendly and playing cher on her cd player really loud while we were working. and john telling us all the stories about the hurricane and sitting at the picnic table in their front yard. mississippians are so awesome!
okay, im pretty much done being all gushy and sentimental, and before track i have to get this parody started, or at least think of an idea... eeek.
ap tests are next week. what IS that? i havent even studied.
