Well, nobody has guessed the origami and the bowtie yet, so I'll say that those two are alike on the basis that they are roughly symmetrical.

gnostraeh and pinta are really onto something. actually, you all are, more or less. It is shape-based, and the quiz is somewhat unfair. I will try to reveal at 10:00 AM eastern time. I realize now the question is somewhat misleading. eeeep. It's really more like, what do these three things have in common.
