'I share my bed with a baby rhino.'

I love to produce my art, but the longer I spend in Art related education, the more I am enclined to consider that I dont want a career in it. I love what I do, but thats it. And im realistic enough to know that it doesnt really matter too much if I want it or not, because its a tough nut to crack anyway. I would be a shoddy curator, although im learning to be more open minded, I know what I like, and find it hard to understand alot of 'ideas'.
Maybe it would suit me better to keep this as my hobby, my beloved past time that isnt ruined by the stress and politics of Fine Art.

Which leads me to wonder what I DO want to achieve.

This week has been spent in quiet contemplation reguarding my future.
Ive already put this off for longer than I should,
im 23 and only in my second year of my degree.
This time next year I will nearly have finished and will be thrown relunctantly into the wide world of careers and day jobs. This isnt a plesent thought.

I have been spending alot of time looking at these sites in particular:

http://www.conservationafrica.net/

http://www.bluecross.org.uk/web/site/WorkWithUs/CareersIntro.asp

At the moment my chosen future would involve a bit of both. Im an idealist, me.

Currently I am not living up to the general student lifestyle hype. Theres a suprise.
Mug of tea in hand, tatty old armchair and tarten blanket spread across my knees, household pet perched precariously on my slipped feet, snoring contentedly after an afternoon of joyful terrorising.

I am restless for change yet utterly comfortable with my current situation.
And I feel a bit like when youve just woken up from a really powerful dream and it stays with you all day and leaves you in a bit of a haze.
