I am not even going to pretend I've been keeping up around here... so if anyone thought they were detecting a vast echoing emptiness wherein there should be Summer, you were right... I continue to think about you all but I also continue to be lousy at this sort of thing.... also there's that other stuff that gets me all type-tied when I get on here, or moreover keeps me away mostly, and for that I think I'll be using LJ in the future primarily for communication, not so much for the blogging thing... anyway, on to the good news:
Fourth of July is a Friday this year.
Yes we will be having a party.
Yes you, and yours, are invited.
Yes it will be bigger and better than last year (maybe ever!)
Also it will probably be the last here at the Compound; we are hoping it will be at our very own house next year.
