I'm really busy today, but here are some headlines worth noting
- Legendary Director Igmar Bergman passed away over the weekend, he was 89. Here is a link to the NY Times obituary.

- Nicole Richie and Joel Madden have confirmed that they ARE EXPECTING! This has got to be one of the most anti-climactic announcements EVER from these two geniuses (stars don't book primetime interviews to de-bunk pregnancy rumors). Nicole never struck me as motherly...and if it was a ploy to stay outta jail or keep The Simple Life going...she failed.
- If Britney's children could speak (do they?) what would they say? Jezebel has the weekly tabloid wrap-up. This week: Britney is a bad mom; Trouble for Brangelina!
- Many people have emailed me about Jimmy Fallon replacing Conan O'Brien 2009. Before I give my take, I should mention that I have a bit of a geeky crush on Fallon....
As far as I'm concerned, Jimmy Fallon and Tina Fey were the best "Weekend Update" anchors since Dan Aykroyd and Jane Curtin. If he held off on the lame Sandler impressions, he might be able to pull off replacing Conan.
- Joe Pesci and Angie Everhart are engaged? I have no comment...
- Um... Usher's life is a mess right now. Go here if you are interested in the latest on the canceled wedding, etc...
