We went karaoking with a really cute couple who sang together and to each other, and I re discovered some wonderful old songs. It was interesting though, I did not feel the urge to post them on Lj until today. 31st is getting closer and it is difficult to balance all the emotions surfacing inside.

So this weekend, Mary came up to visit. I am both happy and thankful. A lot of things were almost unbearable without the support I got from her. And this time around, I think I finally found the closure I've been looking and waiting for. I need a closure to say bye to Berkeley, as least for now. I can't say I loved or hated Berkeley, because it became home.
Sunday was spent walking around the good old Cal campus, hitting a Brazilian outdoor food stand, and chilling with the typical Berkeley street fair and vintage store shopping. How should I put this... it felt very chic... to have great weather, good food, good company and simply enjoy the day.
It was not the same as it was in our undergrad days, but it was good and soon enough today will also become part of the great memories. It will never be the same, but who knows what's to come? It is exciting, and it gave me the sense of good bye and closure I needed.
