I have a quiz in about 20 minutes, a major organic test on friday, and a huge assignment due for photo tomorrow. Even though my quiz for anthropology this morning sucked, I'm in a relatively good mood. Want to know why? Well, I can't tell you that. ;-) I've decided to let things go at their own pace. But it does make me smile.

On another note, I've had a crazy-busy-stressful week. All the work I've been assigned is starting to make me panic. Especially the orgo test. I've spent so much time in the darkroom this week that I'm dreaming in black and white prints. I had a panic attack last night at 2:30 because I couldn't see anything in color. I needed to go into the hallway for a minute to catch my breath and make sure I wasn't insane. I haven't been sleeping particularly well either. Rachel had her show last night, and I normally don't wake up when she comes in, but last night was the exception. I couldn't sleep for a while. In spite of the not sleeping well, I got up on time for anthro today, partly because we had a quiz. That quiz sucked. My teacher completely misled us on what would be on it, and I don't think anyone did well on it. He damn well better curve it so I don't fail.

I went to NYC this weekend, which was awesome. I spent Saturday night at Elana's, and then we took the train in on Sunday to meet her friend Seth (who was a jackass, and left us after a while, for which I was eternally grateful). We went to the Met (metropolitan museum of art), and saw some incredible artwork. I could have easily spent days there. I want to go back alone and examine a few things more closely. Then we sat on the steps outside, and I took pictures (which came out pretty well, so I'm pleased about that) of everything. Then Elana & I hailed a cab and went to the museum of natural history to wait for CJ. We hung out there for a while, and I took some more pictures. Then CJ called to let me know he was finished, and I was so excited to see him. He's so happy in the city, and it was incredible to see him in a normal setting. He's definitely one of my best friends. Elana loved him (thought he was charming, and a total sweetheart), but he couldn't have dinner with us because he had to finish a roll of film for his photography class. So Elana and I took a cab to this great kosher place that was delicious!! So good!! Then we were both exhausted, so we walked to Penn station and took the train back to NJ. Then I had to drive all the way back to Muhlenberg. Blagh. But I got back safe and sound, and I went to bed almost as soon as I got back.

Ok, enough. I have to go to French. Hugs,
~me~
