It's been a busy couple of weeks, but I finally feel settled. I went to see Nisha last Sunday, which was fun. I haven't really seen her since we left in May, so we had dinner and ice cream and went to Barnes & Noble for a while.
Thursday was the senior connections kick off, which was so weird. 400 seniors packed into a tent, drinking like college seniors and talking to people we probably hadn't talked to in months (or even years). It was so strange to realize that we're actually seniors and we have to get lives after this. That feeling was compounded by seeing Heidi at the center for ethics lecture. She's an adult, teaching and earnng money, and it was so good to talk to her, but so weird too. It made me miss all the seniors from last year.... Then it was time for Grey's, ER & Thirsty Thursday!!! Grey's was ok, kind of anti-climactic after last season's finale, but ER was really good. I can't wait to see what happens next week.
AND Thirsty Thursday!! We ended up at Elana's apartment hanging out, and Jamie did some of his African dance moves for us, and then tried to teach us, which turned into a dance party. I really wish my camera had been working, since it was hysterical.
Yesterday was pretty uneventful. I had a meeting with Ali & Bill for history club, then I came back and took a 3 hour nap, and then I was bored, so I went to Border's to read for a while, and then I hit the grocery store, and then it was almost time for NUMB3RS!!!! I was soo excited for it. Everytime a commercial came on, I'd be like, "NOOOOOOO." But it was really good, and I can't wait for next week's episode. However, watching it by myself was completely unreal. I missed Erynn so much while I was watching that I almost didn't want to watch any more. But I'm glad I saw it. : )
Ok, I have a physical chem exam on Tuesday that I really need to study for, so I should go do that. Hope all's well with you.
