So in case you're wondering...I had tonsilitis and not mono, which was a relief, because I was able to go on antibiotics and be cured whereas mono would have required time in bed that I wouldn't have been interested in.

I've been working for Dad, and at the library, which has been a nice filler, giving me something to do instead of scramble my brain with romance novels. Mom & I also went down to Harrisburg to see my grandmother, and go to my cousin's graduation party, which I enjoyed. I haven't seen them in a really long time so it was fun to bond.

I also got to see my cousin Katie, who did the same Ireland trip that I'm doing. She was a huge help, gave me some great places to go, and really helped me relax about the whole thing, since I'd been really worried. Getting an email from Dr. Murphy, who's the program director, helped too. I have my rooming assignment, an itinerary for Dublin and a preliminary schedule for my classes. I'm still nervous about it all, but I can't wait to leave. Everyone's told me that this will be one of the best experiences of my life, and I'm excited. There's still a lot of packing and shopping to do, but that'll all get done Friday or next week. Tomorrow I'm working and playing chauffeur for Patrick, and I'll be in Scotia (near Albany) this weekend. Sarah & I are hopefully hanging out on Monday, and I'm going to try and squeeze in a few more people before I leave in a week and a half!! I haven't seen anyone because I've been sick, so I'm looking forward to hanging out with people.

Anyway, if you want to keep in touch this summer, let me know your email address, and I'll add you to the list. : )
