Happy Halloween!
Well, it was an interesting weekend. I had a bunch of people over on Thursday night, went out Friday night but didn't drink, went out Saturday night and ended up leaving the party with a guy I didn't know who doesn't attend Muhlenberg (for more on that, you'll have to ask), and watched movies yesterday while I talked to Adam & C.J.
Friday night was probably the best night out of all of them. I ended up going to the mall with Becca & her fried Jenn, and then went out to dinner with Becca to Friendly's afterwards, and that was so good!! We went back to Taylor, and Jess was talking about how she was going out with Andrew, and I was like "hmmm, maybe I want to go out after all!" (This is after I'd said repeatedly how I needed a night to myself.) So I hurried & got ready, and then met Andrew, Jess, Lisa & Katie, and off we went! It was so much fun! The party we went to was hilarious!! I really hit it off with two of the girls, Becca & Hillary, because Becca was dressed as a devil too, and Hillary and I discovered our mutual loves of Rascal Flatts and Gilmore Girls. We also played the best drinking game ever. It's played with a deck of cards, and I'm totally going to have to add it to my list of fun things to do. I left early though because they decided to watch Amityville Horror, and I'm not big on horror movies. I came back, watched one of the movies I'd rented earlier. I was up until about 4:30, but I got to sleep in.
I was SO unproductive on Saturday. I fooled around online, ran a couple errands and then it was time to get ready to go to the hockey game!! Initally, I practically had an ulcer, since I was keeping the score sheet and running the scoreboard at the same time. As the game went on, I relaxed a little bit, and did a lot better. We ended up winning 6-4, and so I went out to celebrate with Jess & Andrew again. We hit a party in Robertson that had a lot of people I didn't know, so I felt a little uncomfortable. I ended up going to the diner with a guy I'd been talking to for a while (and no, I hadn't met him before Saturday). Then he dropped me home around 1:30 (2:30 DST), and I talked to Casey for a while and then went to bed. I'd had 3 late nights in a row, so I was completely exhausted and I slept like a log.
Yesterday, I slept past 12, and did absolutely nothing all day. I watched movies, talked to people online, ended up having insanely detailed/serious conversations with both C.J. and Adam (BTW, Meg, give him a call. He wanted to hang out with you...). Part of it yesterday (and Saturday) was that I wasn't (and still am not) feeling that well. Hopefully, it's just a 72 hour virus and will go away soon. It's also been 90-billion degrees in our apartment lately, so I'm sure that's not helping.
Well, this was long, but it was a long weekend. Maybe I'll write again this week, or maybe not.
