It's all we've been given, so you better start livin' ...
I got home from Maryland today. I wish I could stay there forever. New Jersey isn't satisfying me, I hate the people here. Well anyways I hate leaving MD. Every year it always makes me sad to come home and this time I only stayed for 4 days. I just love it there for some reason.
So, Wednesday we left pretty late but I was ready for like 10. The drive was very boring. We got to the hotel and I got ready then we went to the board walk and met up with Nicole and her family. We walked around and the balloon guy, Steve, was there haha. He was funny. And awesome guys playing the guitar haha. Then we went back to their condo and hung out and played pictionary and scategories. Me and Nicole are awesomee at pictionary, seriously. But I suck at scategories lol. And I found out funny stuff when I entered their condo, heh. We were there for a while and then went back to the hotel.
Thursday we went Dunkin Donuts in the morning. I sat in the very same seat I did 2 years ago haha. And then went to the beach. I took a few walks and then Nicole Danielle and Dave got there so we hung out. Then some guys, Jimmy, Joe and Joe asked us to play soccer, but I watched lol. Then a boy from Alabama started playing haha. So we ended up hanging out with these guys minus Alabama boy and they stayed at the same condo as Nicole, so when we went back to the pool we hung out with them. I couldn't go in the water so I watched. Fun. Then I went back to my hotel and showered and got ready then we were supposed to go to this restaurant Harpoon Hannah's but there was a long wait which made me sad because I like it there lol. So we went to Big Pecker's instead. MD has amazing restaurant names :] haha. Our waitress was SO perky and it annoyed me lol. I bought a Big Peckers t-shirt, haha. Then we went to Dumsers and got ice cream andhung out for a little. Then we went mini golfing and took some awesome pictures haha. Dave won, but me and Nicole were having an 'off day' lol. We went back to Nicole's, then we all went to the beach. I love going to the beach at night, it's so pretty. We walked around and there was a bunch of people, and some people were lighting off little fireworks. We went back to the condo and played some more pictionary. Me and Nicole got accused of cheating because we are that good, haha. They said we have ESP lol. Well we won of course, and we hung out for a while and then went back to the hotel.
Friday was an amazing day :] haha. We went to Bagels n Buns and the sugar packet was a signnn. Then went to the beach. I took like a mile long walk, and finally found what I was looking for =D the scopes guy from last year ahah. I'm stupid like that lol. Then I found Dave so we took another walk to where he was, then came back and Nicole and Danielle were there so I took yet another walk. We waited around and finally got pictures and we all got individuals with him haha. He didn't remember which I didn't expect, but of course I remembered him. Then we found Jimmy, Joe, and Joe and hung out with them. They buried one of the Joe's ( we called him Jose lol ) and it was pretty funny lol. Then we took pictures, and they took random ones with people lol. We took one with some guy from Ghana, haha, It was pretty funny. Then we went back to Nicole's condo and ate lunch, then went to the pool. Our friends were there.. I still couldn't go in so i sat on the ledge with them. Then I got soaked so I went somewhere else and they came over and we were just talking. Joe, not Jose, was mine and Nicole's favorite haha, he was the funniest. Then I left and got ready and I went out to eat with my parents at JR's, I love their ribs. Then went to the boardwalk and met up with Nicole, Dave and Danielle. We walked around for a little and saw our friends and then me, Nicole and Danielle went to pick up our pictures, but there was a lot of traffic so we ended up not getting there until 9:30. But we had a fun ride and blasted some country and an old guy next to us bobbed his head ha. We finally got there and the guy wasn't even there! But we were talking to his friend who lives with him heh, and we couldn't even pick up our pictures, which sucks, so we have to get them shipped here. Then we went to Candy Kitchen and Sunsations. My mom was driving me nuts. We got back to the condo and me Nicole and Danielle took a walk, then found our friends and were talking to them. According to funny Joe I look like a Penelope, not a Lauren, lol. Then I went back to the hotel and packed up, then went to sleeep.
Today, at 5 in the morning, I got woken up by thunder. I got up at 7 :[ and got ready and then checked out of the hotel and went to sunsations, but the people are stupid, but whatever. Then we left :[ I was sad, lol. The ride was boring, but we got home by like 1:30, so it wasn't too bad. I hung around and unpacked, I didn't go to Kaliegh's party because I was tired .. whoopss. Then I went to Mike's for his bday party with Nicole and Dave. Sarah Becca and Dave were already there and we just hung out. I ate some food and eventually Jen and Phil came. We pretty much just hung around. The power went out for a long time, came back on, then went out again, which sucked. Then I was watching movies with Mike's dad, butwhatever.
I'm so tired. I should go to sleep but I felt the need to update lol. I miss Maryland, that's my real home haha. Seriously though I love it there. I want to move there. I'm pretty tired of being in New Jersey lol. I like it here too but it's just better there for me lol. But when I really think about it time is going way too fast. I remember summer vacations there from so long ago but they felt like they were last week. I was thinking about last year, and then I realize how quickly it flew by. I really do hate time. I feel like I was just a little kid and now I'm going to be a senior in high school. It's pretty crazy. I hate thinking about it, so I'll quit now before I get all nostalgic and stuff, lol.
