Writing course

I've just come back from the Arvon Foundation science fiction writing course, which was excellent.  They made a promise at the start of the week that each of us would find our writing improved by the end, and certainly delivered on that - thanks to Justina Robson and Adam Roberts, our two tutors.

Thanks also to the mighty Craig Thomas, whose books were a constant inspiration.

Now if only someone at Interzone would decide to take one of my stories...

Oh, and in other news - it seems ducks are turning into Mallards.  Make of this what you will.
