bmk2008 requested I do a wallpaper tutorial for the Bella Wallpaper I posted in the last tutorial, so, with a few changes (because I can't remeber some of the specifics :S) I did it. :) Hope you enjoy :)

Bella Wallpaper Tutorial

Step 1
+ Open your base. Mine, again, is 1280x800. Fill it with colour #e0e8eb

Step 2
+ Open a new canvas, size 2253x3000. Paste this picture from everglow, and crop the image so as just Bella is on it.
+ Create a new levels layer, using the following settings:
Input: 0, 1.49, 255

Optional: I wanted to give Bella her brown eyes, because I'm making a Bella wallpaper, not a Kristen wallpaper. If you do want the brown eyes, play around on a levels layer, bit more red, bit of a darker colour, until you get brownish eyes. This is jsut one way of getting ehr eyes brown :)

+ Next, add a colour balance layers, with these settings:
Shadows:
+1, -2, +23
Midtones:
+34, -9, -26
Highlights:
-17, 0 +15
+ Finally, add a selective colour layer. Use these settings:
Reds:
-70
-6
-3
+6

Yellows

Magentas

+ Now, drag it onto your wallpaper base, resize it to whichever size you want. I resized it to 30%.

+ I sharpen the image, then sharpen edges also. After this, I just use the smudge tool to clean up the horribly sharp bits on her face, and get this:

Step 3 The background decorations

+ Now, I can't remember who made these ink splatters, but I have made a mix of all my favourite ink splatter brushes. I do know that they are all from deviantart. I've uploaded them here, but please, these are not mine so do not credit me. :)
+ Now it's entirely up to you which brushes you used. I used 3, using colours something along the lines of #eac012 for yellow, #de9418 for the orange and #61b0dd for the blue. I mess around with them, and get this:

I know it's not identical to the wallpaper I produced, but It's as close as I can get :S Sharpen them however much you want :)

+ Next, move the image of Bella over the top, and set to darken. The good thing about this image is that it's practically a white background, so there's not cutting out needed :) Using a Lasso tool (70px?), erase the bottom, and I've managed to get this:

I just then erased some of the yellow ink splatter so as there's not yellow on her face :)
Then, if you want to erase the bottom of Bella, you can do. I just used an ink brush to do this, just makes it blend in a bit more :)

Step 4 Decorations :)
+ Now, I'm so sorry that I can't credit these people for their fabulour brushes, but I can't remember where I got them from. I, again, have uploaded docorative brushes that I like into one brush pack, and that pack can be found here. By the way, I've never uploaded stuff like this before, so if it's wrong, jsut tell me :)

+ Now, using colour #95b475, play around until you get what you want. Mine looks like this:

+ Next, another pattern from theinspirationgallery, I use this pattern, creating a new layer on top of the background layer and filling it. I set it to soft light at 60-70% opacity. If it covers up the ink or Bella too much, jsut erase the bits that get in the way.

Text
+ I'm going to use Porcelain from misprinted type. In colour #ffffff, I typed "Isabella" size 60px. I spaced the letters by 100, and put an outer glow on it. Do the same for "Swan", but in a smaller size font.

Done :) Now I know it's not the same as my first attempt, but with a bit of colour adjustments, size etc, you'll get there :)

Aaaaaand now for two wallpapers I made through my header/wallpaper requests post. :) Thanks for inspiration to jellybeanbug24 and hopeitallaway :)
