Still kicking
Oooh, I've been bad. So much for updating really frequently-- it's been almost a month now. It seems like I don't have anything interesting to tell y'all, which I'm sure it only true from this end.
So what's up? I've made myself a Jane Austen-time Empire dress, then did English country dancing in it. That was fun. I sold my first doll for a whopping $80, and am working on another so that I can have two in the art room at Animazement. (No, I'm not going, for the first time in eight years. I'm sending the stuff to a friend.)
Woodturning is hard. Definitely the hardest class I've taken here, and possibly the hardest thing I've attempted since getting my red card. But I did it! Now I'm ready for my windsor-chair class in a few weeks.
Next weekend I'm meeting Monica and Sarah at Carowinds, and the first weekend in June the roomies are coming here to visit. Whoo-hoo! Thanks, guys!
