yes, I'm still here
I've had this journal for over two years now, and I've been surprisingly good about updating it-- at least until recently! So I'm not sure how many people are still bothering to read it.
For those of you still out there, hi! Here's a quick update on my life:
1. Graduated college a year and change ago
2. Finished JCC Camp two and a half weeks ago (finally!)
3. Went to my first Lorang family reunion a week ago
4. Have been in NJ counting flatware for my aunt for the past week
I'll be home (that is, back in NC) tomorrow, and then I start looking for a job. I start at the Folk School (check out http://www.folkschool.org) next March, so I'm looking for a temporary job until then. Wish me luck!
In other news, I've finally started writing again. Not a lot, but hopefully I'll post it soon. And! My aunt gave me a digital camera, so maybe I'll finally be able to post pictures of my quilt.
Has anybody heard of these fics? I long to re-read them, but can't find them for the life of me!
A Star Wars fic where Obi-Wan goes through a mountain into an alternate dimension where Qui-Gon is still alive. It was gen and really, really good. Anybody?
A Rurouni Kenshin/Fushigi Yuugi crossover where Kenshin has been reincarnated, is now an artist, and ends up training Chiriko (I think) with a sword. I want to re-read them both!
