If You Believe

Believe,

That there is something out there,

Something just for you,

Feel,

The passion crashing against the rocks,

Breaking many hearts,

Cry,

To know that you can,

You can feel sorrow,

Listen,

To the way the water moves,

Embrace the way it flows all around you,

Live,

With an emotion filled heart,

Never leaving it up to chance,

Die,

Without regrets and what-ifs,

With a smile and with love,

Sulk,

Only when necessary,

For you’ll miss something amazing,

Love,

As much as your heart will let you,

And more than you will let it,

Believe,

That people can change,

Unless they show you otherwise,

Feel,

My passion flowing through the waters,

Extending out to you,

Live,

For without you I would die,

To sulk in the past of nothingness forever,

Love,

Me as much as you say you do,

And believe in me,

Faith,

Is not just what I speak of,

It’s how I get by,

The winds are harsh,

And the temperatures cold,

I’ll be here waiting for you,

Just like I was told,

I believed in you,

I believed that you’d come back,

You must realize now,

That I’m all you lack,

And now the tide goes away,
