I have a lot I am working on right now. Some of which I can't talk about but there are two projects that I feel strongly about.
One is the good4girls project. If you want more information on it let me know. We will be having a sew day here at my house but are more than happy to have people cut pads and send it fabric. We are actually in compitition with BA cloth diapering for it lol. Just a friendly compitition though.. for the good of girls of course. We are looking for PUL scraps flannel and cotton prints but they all have to be kind of plain.
My other project is that Brian knows a guy at work who he wanted to help. They have 3 children in diapers right now. A set of three year old twins one who is autistic and will be in diapers for some time and a new born. The mom stays home since daycare for all of them is just too much. The dad makes $9 an hour. They just had their car stolen as well and are spending $60 a week on diapers alone. I will be donating as many Sumbuns as I can and am taking a week off of work to sew them. But honestly, it is going to be hard for me to absorb all of that cost myself with just opening back up and what not. If you have any diapers that would fit 32lbs + and a 16lbs baby and are willing to donate them to a family that is working hard and doing what they can please please do so.
