So... finally at home. This week has been nice... Let's see
I wrote at least 12 pages for my thesis... I know I should have gotten more, but I'm proud of myself anyway. It's still more than I have written in a year...
I went to see Sleeping Beauty ballet with my sister and her friend. It was awesome!!! Costumes were amazing and beautiful, choreography was brilliant and music... yes, what can one say. It was soooooooo freaking awesome that I want to go again. Or to see something else... maybe opera...
I met
kanesu . She's nice girl. I think we talked about everything possible and would have continued if the restaurant where we were eating wasn't started to get full... LOL... I had fun and let's do it again someday, ne?
Tuomas was bit shy when at mamu's place. But he was all smiles when saw me. I'm so happy!!! He was behaving himself at train on both ways and so on. We bought him a new safety seat on Monday and today when we drove home from railwaystation he got to use it for the very first time. Though considering that he was a sleep all the time, I really don't know how much he likes it.
I visited japanese restaurant first time in 20 years I think. Perfectly positive experience. Can't wait next time.
Tuomas has roseola. Or at least he has the rash. I can't think what else would cause it. He hasn't eaten anything wierd lately. I think. But then again he hasn't had the fever which is usually part of roseola. Or if he had I didn't notice... Though he's been having teething pains again and I've given him medicine for that. Maybe it hid the fever? Anyway, there's red spots around him... I say it's roseola and since there's nothing I can do about it but wait the spots to go away I'm letting it be. Putting some salve on them but that's it. But if those darn spots aren't gone by next week I'll phone doctor.
Oh.. And a bit of useless information... The Japanese restaurent we were at, is called Koto. Kanji of it (yes, name is written with kanji and also romaji for us stupid Finns) means ancient city of former capital. Funny thing is, that koto is also Finnish word, bit oldish yes, but Finnish all the same. Finnish meaning is home or homely. Perfect name for a restaurant, I think.
There's more of these homonyms between Japanese and Finnish. Maybe I'll tell you more about it, later.
