and then there was autumn...

This autumn has really been... well, for the lack of better word, full of surprises. I have managed to surprise myself many times over.

First. I do fine at the telemarketing. Apart from the day I made the first calls, I have not had a day with 0 sells. Days I've been on sickleave don't count. While most of the days have been slow, I've still managed to get enough to get decent wage. And lately I've been doing absolutely amazing. Had couple of super days and somehow my cutesy girly voice seems to fit the magazine that's targeted to men interested on thecnics. Don't ask. I don't understand that either.

Second. I have been feeling happy. Really happy. No sudden bouts of unexplained anger. No crying because of loneliness.. (Though I still would like to share my evenings with someone) I feel really happy and that shows also with how our whole family of three feels.

Third. I started Japanese lessons. I finally managed to do it. Even though I can only participate every other week due having kiddos with me and no baby-sitter available. And so far it has worked, since I already know some Japanese. It's been rather fun too and I really like the teacher.

Fourth. My youngest still doesn't speak much but we have gotten much more care for him. Therapist, tools, and sign language to support. I feel already that he is content with being able to communicate more and more and is encouraged to try new words. Each week I have my boys with me is filled with wonder and happiness of him getting more and more talkative and me being able to understand him.

Fifth. I love school.

And now it's end of autumn. I made my fist ever jack-o-lantern and pumpkin pie. We got out our winter boots (well, bought new ones for everyone) and jackets and forecast says it will snow later this week. Thank all the Kami there is that I asked my dad to change winter tires for my car week ago. DST has also ended once again. Only, since laptop and phone and tablet update their clocks automaticly, you don't really know untill it's freaking dark outside at 5PM. Only ones that still have "summer time" is my wristwatch and clock in my car.. gave me shock that one, when I drove kiddos to their dad's tonight.

I'm eagerly waiting Christmas season. Made plans for the Calender for boys. They both have Lego calendars, scouts calendars, and then they'll have one with useful gifts and stuff to do with mum. Wonder if they will like it. I have most of the gifts planned or made already and basicly all I need now is to find gift to my goddaughter and her family and order for Santa's letters as I do every year. And get about 50 cards done and mailed, but that will be December program with boys.

This week I'll have physiotherapy, Japanese lesson, need to work on few essays etc for school, knit couple of gifts, sew new cover for my reading nook, apply for state support for my son's therapy... <.<  Before December I want to have made tiny bags for boys to use for sport school, get all presents done and wrapped and I think there simply are not enough hours in the day....

holiday season, happy, winter, update, life is good
