So... like I wrote last time I lost my job. Well, me and all my workmates. The Big Boss decided that his financial and productional situation was bad enough that he couldn't keep us anymore. <.< Well, whatever was his reason, it meant that our office as well as other office in another town was shut down. Bleh.
But there's some good things too. In his "generosity" Big Boss gave us our bonuses, even though the payday for those was not until sometime after the end of our term. And after being working there for over a year, I got month worth of pay. The last day of our contract is 25th of February and my maternity leave was supposed to start on March 2nd. No use to go to job markets for those days, eh?
Anyway, I was already planning on staying home a little while after maternity leave, if that was okay with the Boss... now I don't have to worry about his opinion. I just need to start searching for a job when I'm ready to get back to working world. And since I don't need to go to work anymore (and the January's pay will come on 20th) I'll have about 200 euros extra on my hands. Ha! That will be needed later, I suppose.
On to other things. We went to swim yesterday. First time for Tuomas to visit the swimming hall. And he loved it so much he started crying very loudly when it was time to go home. Poor fellow. Today, when I got him from the daycare, he said he wanted to go to swim again. Unfortunately (or not) the hall is closed today. Poor boy. Might consider do that weekly now. At least until little one is born.
Tomorrow I have another appointment with the nurse and Darling is away in school again this weekend. I think I will try to sew some more tomorrow (today I made a bag.. chec natsu_no_fubuki or that again... ) I'm planning on making few small purses, since I have scraps of fabric waiting for me.
