time of waiting...
My autumn is full of waiting... in different meanings. First I'm expecting my second child.. that you of course knew already.. I'm also eagerly waiting for my trip to Düsseldorf/Neuss with Tuomas. And I'm waiting for Christmas.
But about life. About week ago my tummy kinda popped out. Meaning good bye jeans and welcome all baggy clothes.. I'm still hardly big enough for maternity clothes so I use trousers two size too big for me. Or something along those lines. But I'm feeling good about the tummy. My naucea is also getting easier. Most of the mornings I don't even need to rush to toilet anymore. Thankfully. I should start gaining weight now too... This far I've only lost almost 5 kilos.
Last time at the nurse we heard the heartbeat too, so all seems to be well.. My blood pressure is bit low-ish, but I'll live. If nothing else helps, I go to store to get some salmiac.
My sister with her girls came to visit on Friday. I had fun Saturday morning with three kids running around. Later that afternoon my other sister and my dad came along too. Dad was fixing up my car again. <.< We had fun though. Kids running around and playing and we sisters chatting.
Not everyday is roses though. I noticed while paying my bills that my bills and my pay were this time pretty much +/-0... Luckily sister promised to loan me some so I can at least get gas. *sigh* Stupid extra bills that I seriously thought I had taken care of. Well, good thing is that we have potatoes and that I have some extra stuff in my freezer so I'll live at least two or three weeks without need to go to store other than for milk and fresh stuff and maybe some pudding for Tuomas.
Money issues caused me to re-think my Christmas presents. Thankfully I have yarn and fabric at home. Re-use, recycle... I'm gonna make most of the gifts myself anyway.
I think I will take photos of this year's presents and post them afterwards. I have loads of photos to post too, but those will need to wait until I get new cord to my laptop. Stupid thing broke totally this weekend and charging my laptop is pretty much impossible right now. I'll get new one in middle of November or somewhere there, but before that I'm debendable on my work laptop (which I'm currently using... agains policy in here.. bad me) and absolutely no FB for me since it's blocked here and so on...
Not that no-internet-at-home is a bad thing... I actually enjoyed yesterday. I sat in Tuomas' room or in living room and knitted most of the day. And Tuomas liked it cause I was more "available" to him. I should really cut down the time I spend there anyway....
Speaking of Tuomas he fell asleep without diaper last night. We debated with Darling if we want to start his "stay dry at night" training now... or later. While I think we should start soon, I also know that it will cause few sleepless nights and right now I really want to sleep my nights. There'll be plenty of those when Nestori is born.
And for some reason right now I want a chocolate cake. You know... with thick chocolate filling and yummy frosting. Hmm... I'll rummage fridge when I get home. I think I can afford to buy couple of ingredients for it... *wink*
