So I've been thinking about this a lot lately, what's in a name? well especially now, introducing yourself, getting oh that's an unique name, and learning all these people names and for now that is how I identify people. not that with people I do know I ignore their name but you , or me, use it less and less.
But what got me thinking was yesterday a girl was on the phone, presumbly with her boyfriend and was like, bye I love you, brian. or something like that. brendan, ben.. .something or other. now I'm just usually like bye I love you. the end. well I don't actually say the end.. cuz that would be weird, yes.
so at first I'm like hmm that sounds really unnatural.
but then today I saw cassie, one of the four blackstonians I talked to today, woot woot, and at her car she's like okay bye taryne. and once again I just said bye. I guess I dont' use people's names a lot like in those situations. but I decided that it added a lot of personability.. or something, it makes it more personal. but then again, to me it makes it more final too.
idk.. just an interesting concept.
but today, this week, has been much better, to the point of even exchanging phone numbers and screennames, hehe, sounds childish I know. so that's good. hung out with tom for walking and dinner tonight and headed home again tomorrow.
but I like my classes, work isnt' too bad after french is done with. and I'm connected to everyone back home too! woohoo!
