penny and me like to gaze at stary skies.
...remembering the year two thousand and six.
*went from "newbie" at work, to getting promoted twice, and am now in training to be a manager. i think thats a pretty big accomplish for me for a few reasons. first off, when i first started i was super shy and pretty much i was overlooked, just a worker but gained status. which isn't really unlike me, i just didn't think it was going to happen.
**started post graduation year at school... kind of annoying because i want it to finish BUT this school year has been in my favour. i was 'granted' a spare which at first i liked the idea but then didn't cause i thought i'd be by myself but it turns out an old best friend of mine had one too and we got to reconnect after 3 years. which eventually led to the ... the... the group. The five who came together and became friends which was awesome, although one was taken from us and given LA haha. we miss you.
***made the desicion to go to china.. on the spot with no real thought about it. i've always told myself i was going to go somewhere before i grad, and when i heard about china i knew that was it. although i had alwasy thought it was going to be a exchange student thing in france. but i am looking forward to china, actually im estatic.
****i decided to take some charge of my future too and took the steps to get where i want to be going. i've decided to graduate early, in january 2008, then work A LOT and go back to school that september to "learn how to teach". although that isnt' really what i think i want to do, its been something i've always thought about since i was young so i will pursue that until i figure out what i really want. getting out of high school early will be nice too.
*flew on my very first plane ever in the summer. it was rather a wierd feeling... how a heavy heavy plane stays afloat in the sky i will never be able to comprehend. but it was enjoyable. i felt stupid for not knowing how to put on the seat belt thing though. i had to ask the lady across the row from me cause no one sat beside me. OH yes felt stupid as well for not knowing where i was supposed to sit and i had to ask the flight attendant and she looked at me like i was pretty stupid. took some bed pictures though... it was good.
**visited terrace and my family by myself which i had the time of my life doing. i love my cousins and my auntie and uncle.
***overall God proved faithful, although i wasnt alwasy faithful to Him.
two thousand and six, i am glad to say goodbye and i look forward to the challenges two thousand seven brings me, as well as the opportunities.
