So, before diving into my whirlwind trip to Japan in February, I need to do some 'splaining as to WHY I felt it necessary to fly halfway around the world for 4 days in Tokyo (and why I'll be back in Tokyo and Osaka in June/July

(Curious fact: the toilets in the restrooms of the Prague metro have a roll of loo paper hanging up in the main area. You rip off a few sheets, put a coin in the dish provided (5 crowns - that's about ten cents), then take the loo paper into the toilet with you.)
