This was excellent! They might've made quite a team, if it were possible for them to do so. Great decision of Giles in the end, with some help from his friend!

Thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed it! Sorry your fave fellow didn't have a bigger role, but I was shocked he showed up at all. Good thing he did, though, as I was very stuck until he poked his pimp cane in and announced they'd be raiding.

OMG! Icon love! I was reading the comments and Lucius winked at me! I thought I was losing it for sure. Then he blinked. When he frowned, I finally realized it was an animated icon. Duh! Very cool. Love the subtlety of it.

Damn, I love you for writing these two together! I love Giles and I love Snape and they're just awesome! I really enjoyed your story. It's just a pity they had to go different ways. It surely would have been interesting to read more about Giles in the world of Severus... *gg*
Btw, I loved this sentence: Who was going to play what for how many quid in a ditch … and why? *gigglesnort* Really great play with words!

The world, or at least the internet, definitely needs more Giles/Snape fic. Sadly, at this stage in their lives, they did kind of have to part ways.

Oh, this is a treat! Ripper deluding himself that he was the one to get rid of the wizards early on by 'showing them'. Lovely! And:-
“Demon?” Ripper asked, pointing at the tattoo.

“Pretty much,” Severus replied...
Severus has already worked that much out. I really liked this and I can see how it could have gone down this way without conflicting with canon significantly. I wonder what they'd think of each other now though.

Yup. Like Ripper, he was a stupid kid who got in over his head, but at least he figured it out.
