Season 7 is so difficult to watch when you just want Buffy and Giles to be the Buffy and Giles we've seen through previous seasons. A team, not at odds. But the video makes a nice thread of connection with the two of them and gives the "I really do" moment even more emotional weight.

(But why, oh why, would they not give us a hug or something at the end?!)

I really liked this vid. It gave hope where most of Season 7 just gave me heartburn concerning Buffy and Giles' relationship. I never quite understood how the writers got it so wrong there. Especially after their easy reconciliation in Grave and then after he returns in season 7 and they are patrolling together. Everyone in that season seemed out of character. Sigh.

Yes I suffer for Giles and Buffy each time I watch the 7th season, it's impossible to imagine they could be so far apart.
And I had totally forgotten about this great version of the song!

Great answer to Giles and Buffy being at odds throughout so much of S7.

The sound was a bit wonky in a few places but other than that, I had no problems watching it.
