Favorite Giles Moments: Season 2, Part A
Wow, so looking back at screencaps of Season 2, there were some adorable moments, but ... MAN our Giles got a little worked over! We found out about his darker past, he fell in and out of a relationship, got shot with an arrow, tortured, and kissed by Drusilla. Don't worry: the pics in this post of of the happier, innocent first episodes of the season. Plus? We have cute random moments at the end!
PIC 1: CAFETERIA WALK FROM WHEN SHE WAS BAD
KP: AH, the first walk of the cafeteria with Jenny. When things were so sweet. And the only thing Giles had to worry about was how hard Buffy had trained over the summer.... little did he know!
EB: The sweetness here is so great, although soon there’s the build-up to the darkness that will define the remainder of the series. *cue ominous music*
PIC 2: THE MASTER'S BONES ARE DUST... AND GILES SAW IT
KP: This is a man who knows how hard it is to fight the demons.
EB: And here we see that fighting demons is not only physically straining and a social-life dampener, it’s also very hard on the psyche, and Giles is a bit too sympathetic to have always been an innocent bystander…
PIC 3: COUNTER GILES!
KP: AW, the counter lean! I love the counter lean! After digging up bodies Giles always likes his counter....
EB: Oh god! He is just too ridiculously cute for words here. This is the Giles with whom I fell in love.
PIC 4: A MAN WHO LIKES TO BE ASKED OUT
KP: HEE! Giles has been asked out on a date! A football date, but still, a date! He's so cute when he's happy.
EB: Oh man! Look at the glee there! *sing-song* Giles has a da-ate! Maybe he’s not as sexless as we all thought. :)
PIC 5: THE DATE
KP: Ok, this moment is just TOO cute! Giles, holding every conceivable thing you can buy at a highschool foot ball game.
EB: He’s so befuddled and cute. I just love the amount of snacks he’s carrying: it defies physics.
And a couple (well, three) of yummy Giles pics just because. :)
