Favorite Giles Moments (Season 2, Part b)
I don't know if you all remember our grand tradition from last season, but we're back with more of our Favorite Giles Moments for you! And today elizabuffy and I would like you to stroll back down memory lane with us… back to Season 2… back when some things were simpler, but when Giles' life was just about to get incredibly complicated!
PIC 6: DEFENSIVE-MODE GILES
The moment from School Hard when Giles realizes that he must protect the books! Well, actually, I think he's torn between wanting to protect books, the parents, and help his slayer, but still.... BOOKS!
PIC 7: DON'T LIE TO YOUR GILES
Kate: *flutter* Intense!Giles. How do we love thee? Let us count the ways.... No, but seriously, if Buffy had seen this expression (this is after Giles finds out Buffy lied to him about going to a party in Reptile boy), would she ever have had the courage to lie again? I'll let you decide.
EB: OMG! Who can resist The Look? He might be cute and adorable when things are hunky-dory, but he’s Teh!sex when he’s pissed.
PIC 8: HANDS ON HIPS GILES
Hands-on-hips!Giles!! HEEEE! Look at him being all parental!
PIC 9: AND YET, HE'S STILL A SCAMP
Kate: Ok, it's not the world's best screencap, but it is the moment all that hand-on-hip action gets completely undone! The little smirk that says Giles got into his own trouble... and that Buffy killing off the evil snake demon is awesome!

Kate: Our first real Giles/Ethan interaction. So dark, so brooding, so the darker side of Giles.

EB: He is just so cute. I really love when his crow’s feet are noticeable as they are is this picture. It gives him a sweet, soft look.
