today i worked for 8.5 hours, 3 of which were actually a stipened "don't touch children" training through the catholic church. (i teach at a catholic school for emerald city.) the box office phone was ringing all morning, my kids wouldn't listen at all, child abuse training is just depressing, i'm fighting off a cold, it's cold as popcicles outside, the cta is raising fares, and to top it all off i just had two job rejection letters in my inbox.

today was not a good day.
