flowers or ladybugs: pretty weeds or red beetles with dots

so im back home again. it doesnt feel like i start school in 4 days...its too wierd and too soon. i realized i dont care at all this year about what i usually do. i dont have school supplies or school shoes or all my uniform stuff yet. im kinda just going with it. but it feels good. whatever is a good answer.

connecticut was awesome, as expected. skiied a lot, attended numerous boring cocktail parties for my grandparents, had the "where are you going to college/what are you going to do with the rest of your life" conversation about a billion times, dont think i spent a day without going in the water. im glad i saw everyone, especially corey. we spent the last night executing our usual ritual of hogies and then our drive up to soldiers monument. soldier's monument is this big like castle mounment thing on top of this huge hill in the town where our lake houses are. not exciting at all, but our parents have been bringing us there at night ever since we can remember, so when everyone started driving, we began continuing the tradition ourselves. we sit around in a circle with the headlights shining on the top of the hill and just talk.

i miss chicago a lot too...i was getting used to being in the city everyday and going to school there. i felt comfortable having that life again.

kinda psyched for senior year, not as much as i should be, i guess im pushing the future thing to the back of my mind for now. this summer i thought about a lot of things, set my views of the reality of stuff. it included a lot of the fact that everyone's so full of it. even i am at times. but i guess that's life. you rerely meet those people who dont give a fuck. everyone gets a taste of them sometime. if they're lucky. sometimes it pushed them down deeper into whatever mess they're in, or someitmes it pulls them out. life's a bitch.

you cant erase your past thoughts. once you've had them they'll always have existed. for that matter, you cant erase your past either.

enjoy 2006 while you can, its almost gone :)
