(no subject)
Graduation is over. Eric attended and sat with my parents, but he ended up getting up to help Captain Morgann and the other soldiers when the bunnies and toads tried to rush the stage. Like they hadn't done enough damage by eating the fake diplomas? I was prepared to help though. I pulled out my perfume bottle and started spraying. The other girls followed suit and I think it helped get the situation under control fast.
I had one hell of a perfume headache afterward though. Someone made a crack about me missing my calling to be a soldier. They shouldn't mock. I could easily sign up, but I'd rather not risk being separated from Eric if at all possible. Besides, I was already accepted into the nursing program at Sunnydale University. I start in the fall.
Daddy and Mom offered to send Eric and me on an extended honeymoon whenever he can get some time off. It's sort of a graduation gift for me too. I'm not sure where we want to go, but it will be awhile I think before Eric can take some time off. I've been spending time with Kim mostly because she is really getting close to her due date and Captain Morgann, Eric and everyone are busy with the toad and bunny infestation.
Amber is set to start classes soon. I'm really going to miss her, but she swears she will be back to visit and said that Eric and I are welcome to come see her any time we can. It's going to be weird not having her here, but I guess that is part of graduating. Everyone takes off in new directions and stuff. I never figured I'd be married and ready to start nursing school, but my life really agrees with me. Eric is the best husband any girl could want and I really feel like I'm becoming a better person now that he and I are together.
I'm even starting to get some of the cooking stuff down. I made spaghetti and a roast this past week and both turned out really well. I really love spending time with Mr. Morgann. He's such a great guy and his stories about Captain Morgann are hysterical. He tells me all the time to relax and not worry about being this amazing cook because it will come to me eventually and that the look on Eric's face when he sees me is proof that my husband is a happy man.
