Christmas ended up being better than I expected. Amber invited Eric and me to her house for Christmas dinner so we decided to accept the invitation. Mrs. O'Neil was really sweet and asked if I wanted too talk and I didn't at first, but Amber and I talked in her room before dinner and she encouraged me to talk to her mom and swore her mom would keep it confidential.
So, after dinner, I did that. Eric was a really good sport about me taking off twice, once to talk to Amber and the next to talk to Professor O'Neil. Jake and Marcus kept him entertained I guess. So that was cool. I told Professor O'Neil about the Christmas party and my parents and just, well I told her a lot of things. I felt a lot better after talking to her and told her that I'd talk to my parents about maybe doing family counseling with her and if they didn't agree, then I'd like to start seeing her. So, yeah, things worked out okie.
Mom and Dad are in LA for the weekend at some friend's party. Whatever. I have the house to myself and I figure this is as good a time as any to throw a party. I passed out fliers and stuff at the college and the bronze and the espresso pump. I'm expecting a huge turn out and I got a couple of college guys to buy the kegs so there will be beer and stuff. Maybe it's payback for my parents being assholes at Christmas, but I figure they can't say much to me for throwing a party in the house.
They want to embarrass me? Then I'll just return the favor. It's the Blake way.
