1) What did you do in 2004 that you'd never done before? drank, for one...and having a livejournal! and building a teepee. haha. awesome.
2) Did you keep your New Years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year? i made a few (stop biting my nails, be more classy, organize life..or at least closet, start keeping a journal again, start feeling healthy, write kurt a letter at least once a week), and while i did clean my closet and start keeping a livejournal, i haven't really completed any of them. of course i'll make them again this year, but i probably won't keep them, again.
3) Did anyone close to you give birth? a few cousins. older ones, though. they're in their 30's.

16) What song will always remind you of 2004? anything from gavin degraw's first CD, gavin castleton's Dark Age, "what ladder" rant remix by gruvis malt, fall by something corporate.
17) Compared to this time last year, are you:
Happier or sadder ? both, in varying intensities.
Older or wiser ? older, most of the time. wiser some of the time. sometimes i feel very young and stupid, though. oh, god, i don't know.
Thinner or fatter? oh god, probably fatter.
Richer or poorer? i get paid more but i spend it faster, soooo...
18) What do you wish you'd done more of? i wish i'd kept in better touch with kurt, even if he didn't keep in very good touch with me...i also wish i'd seen maggie more, and i guess i wish i'd read more books.
19 What do you wish you'd done less of? feeling sorry for myself...hooking up with certain people...and i wish i'd done a lot less of NOT hooking up with one person in particular (aka i wish i'd banged someone i never did, haha).

24) What was your favorite TV program? hmm...the OC? or Ellen. i don't know. haha.
25) Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year? i don't think i HATED a certain someone who will remain nameless (though ALL OF YOU know who i'm talking about, haha) back then. i pretty much do now. other than her, though, i can't think of anyone.
26) What was the best book you read? hmmmm....True to Form by Elizabeth Berg.
27) What was your greatest musical discovery? Gavin Castleton and Gruvis Malt, definitely. Thanks, andrew :-D

30) What was your favorite film of this year? garden state, or elf.
31) What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you? last year my birthday was the first day of classes, a few days after my boyfriend left the country, a few weeks after my mother started dating a woman, and 3 days after i got plastered for the first time. sooooo i stayed in. i think i ate dinner at home with my mom and brother. overall, a crappy day. oh, and i was 20.
32) What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying? if kurt had been "stationed" (as it were) in south kingstown, rhode island as opposed to bucharest, romania. or if he just wasn't a mormon. whatever.
33) How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2004? i think i'm pretty original when it comes to my "style," but as a general whole, i'm old navy all the way.

35) Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most? hmmmm...brian ireland:)

38) Who was the best new person you met? hmm. jackie b., christopher, and lauren berke. ooh! and stacy, linnae, sean strizzi, kev, michelle...i've met a LOT of great people this year.
39) Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2004: umm...live for the moment. sometimes it'll get you in trouble, sometimes you'll regret it, but in the end, it's all for the story anyway, so live it up.
40) Quote a song lyric that sums up your year:
waking up from this nightmare
how's your life? what's it like there?
is it all that you want it to be?
does it hurt when you think about me
and how broken my heart is?
-or-
only an angel would open the door to let an earthquake in
only an earthquake would expect the world to listen
anyway, NOW i am going to go study.
