haha, so, after a little craziness, i finally found myself standing in THE GREEN ROOM in providence, standing in between my favorite jewish math god (uhh...), and the one that looks like ryan but knows what he's doing (maggie knows), watching who? who now? GAVIN CASTLETON? oh, yeah, him. on stage. right in front of me.
sooooooo nice to look at...
besides that, soooo talented. i was thoroughly impressed. anyone that good looking and that talented, PLUS ben folds funny? oh my, where do i sign up? the show was incredible (aside from a certain boner and a certain drummer LEAVING ME ALL ALONE during a set that sounded like a soundtrack to every bad dream anyone's ever had...give it up for Tarantula, guys...), and i really had fun with andrew and justin, as well as paul (andrew's friend) and...dean? i think? who is also andrew's friend. we went to thayer street after the show and looked at all of the MFC posters that they'd put up and got caught in toga party hell and ran into people they both knew and ate good pizza and got home around 3:30 in the morning...all the while listening to the grϋvis, of course. best part of the night was either eye contact with gavin (*swoon* i mean, uhh...), or justin's drunken quotes, which i will leave you with, as well as a link to MFC, just because anyone who plays air drums more than i do deserves to have his band supported.
then again, he does play the drums. and knows what he's doing.
