Oh, this is just awful!!! My dad and I went for a drive today, to kind of prepare me for tomorrow, since it's my driver's test tomorrow, the test. And I don't really know how it's gonna happen. Do I have to take a drive alone with this person I don't know, and all he's gonna do is judge me? Ugh, it's gonna be horrible no matter what. But, haha, guess what? There's a snow storm outside!
It was crazy driving, and right about when we entered Oslo is started snowing, and it just started snowing more and more. And it was really horrible to drive, thank god we have a decent car. The anti-spin was working hard. The car was pulling from side to side. Then we went to my grandparents for an hour or so. And when we left, it was even worse. Oh, and there's this really steep, long hill a few miles from our house, and we barely made it up! When I was almost on top, the car suddenly slowed down so much, and I had to hit the gas pedal all the way in. If you'd do that with the car on a straight, dry asphalt it would go to 60 mph in no time! So crazy!
Then the problem is of course, me being unlucky. The snow was actually gone for about a week, and I was optimistic. Isn't it global warming? But no! It's winter "wonderland" again! I'm so scared, freaked, and every other emotion you don't wanna have. I really have no positive thoughts in my little head right now :p And if I do get my license tomorrow, when the heck am I gonna go for a drive? I won't go outside in the snow voluntarily, let alone drive in it! Crazy, crazy. I'm hoping it's gonna be easier to drive in Florida :p It rains pretty much every day at 3 though, but doesn't it dry pretty much right away? And it doesn't really rain that much in the winter, so I have a few months until the wet season starts :p 51 fucking days left!!
I've been talking to the one person I know is gonna arrive the same day as me, and who's from Norway. We can't honestly only be two on that day, can we? I know there's quite a few people coming in that day, but they're from like the UK and Germany. And the other person who's from Norway is from a different part of the country, so we don't know for sure if she travels from the same aiport as me. But I would assume she'll just get one more layover than me, with her first layover at the airport I travel from, which is the biggest airport in Norway. So I'm hoping for that, so we can get to know eachother on the plane, even though she's gonna work in Food & Beverage and I'm gonna be working in Merchandise.
Oh, and on my new laptop I downloaded Google Earth. And it's in 3D!!! Was is always like that? Seriously, I looked at Epcot, and it was like I was in the Norwegian pavillion, you could read what the signs said! So that's where I'm gonna be spending the next year of my life :p
I also took a tour through the other pavillions, I don't really remember being in any of them, except for the UK, China and Mexico. My mom says the Italy one sucks, and it didn't really look too good on Google Earth either. They could've made it a little bigger, and a lot more cozier, with the typical narrow streets of Italy, but it was just an open square, I think it's St. Marcs Square. Where I've been, twice. And the people who haven't been there aren't missing out on much, so I don't understand why that's the Italian pavillion.
Then I also looked at Vegas. Oh, how much I love, love, love VEGAS!! I seriously wanna go there next year, after my 21st birthday :D And if I have the money, I absolutely can!! Ahhh, I don't think the people around me realize how much of a dream this has been to me. Everything I'm gonna do, see, the people I'll meet everyday, the places I get to visit. The only obstacle is money :p And with a minimun wage job, I probably won't have much left over, so I'm hoping for some money from my parents and grandparents now and then :p
