Gakupuri: Niou-kun
After a long break (from playing Gakupuri, not school, school's breaks' too short. I can't even get a proper job to feed my obsession ;;), I finally cleared Niou's route! Niou is kinda different from what I've imagined, really.
1) Darts - Part 1
You find Niou playing darts, he's really good at it and always hits bullseye. You're impressed and Niou gets kinda cocky ^^; He tells you a little about the rules of the game.
2) Faint
Well, we all know Niou's evil fun-loving and sorts, so it's understandable that he decides to slack off. So you guys are in the storeroom re-arranging the mess, and Niou escapes! (Clever boy ♥) xD
You're left to do the all the work, and.. promptly faint.
Niou is out at the fountain sleeping, he wakes up and finds Yagyuu searching for someone. Yagyuu is looking for you, and he tells Niou that he hasn't seen you today at all. Niou goes OMG! And excuses himself, he goes back to the storeroom to find that you've fainted.
He's a little worried, and asks about your condition. He carries you off to the infirmary and tells you to just close your eyes if you're shy.
You thank him but he tells you not to. (since it's his fault, he left you alone..) You ask him why, he tells you the reason and you say it's not his fault because this is what the representative is supposed to do. You don't blame him and Niou comments that he has 'lost' to you. He tells you not to be so careless again, fainting somewhere no one can see is dangerous. He also comments that you're very interesting. And he sends you home after this, of course xD;
3) Random scenes
- You tell Niou that you'll give him your support for the attraction, and he says for a trickster like him? You say yes, he's rather touched and says he'll look forward to your support and says he'll work hard.
- You tell Niou about Yagyuu (and Marui and Yanagi's) attraction (it's a sweets shop, sells things like dango) and mention that you like sweet stuffs. You comment that boys don't usually like sweet stuff, but Marui seems to like it a lot. Niou agrees, but says that if it was him, he prefers bitter stuff, like coffee.
- You comment that Kirihara and Marui looks your age (2nd year) Yagyuu, Jackal and Yanagi looks like adults. Niou asks you what about Sanada, and you pause.. and then say "sensei..." (the teacher i/c of the tennis club) Niou laughs and say he has heard something interesting.
- You say since Niou has the reputation of a petenshi, will he trick girls? Niou says that that's the worst sort of thing a boy can do (aw!). You apologise for insulting him, and he says he knows that you're just joking. Niou continues to say that he does like girls who look cute when they cry. You go D: and he says of course he would like them to be crying happy tears. You comment that that it's still weird xD;
- Niou and Yagyuu were in the middle of their switching exercise, I think. And you chance upon Yagyuu pretending to be Niou. You say that Niou-senpai seems to be different today. After some probing, Yagyuu finally admits he is indeed Yagyuu and Niou comes by. Both of them, especially Niou, are impressed. (Since you still don't really know Niou yet.)
4) First name
Niou asks if you've someone you're going out with on the way home. And you say no, you later comment that Niou must have someone he's going out with Yagyuu?? and Niou says no, he doesn't. You're quite shocked.
Niou says he'll have one soon though, and you comment that Niou-senpai is very confident. Niou says he'll start working harder from now on, and you go 'Ganbatte!'.
"The first step will be calling her by her first name," he says. He tries calling your first name, you're surprised, and Niou laughs.
5) Darts - Part 2
You find Niou playing darts again and asks if it's okay to watch. Niou says it's fine by him. You praise Niou for his accuracy; Niou gets cocky again, but at his next shot, he misses. He's sad, and you apologise and say that perhaps it's because you're bothering him. He says no of course. Then you ask him, really? He contemplates and says perhaps you're the reason. (He thinks to himself that you're a distraction, in a good way of course.) Later, he reassures you that he just doesn't have enough training.
6) First date - Concert
You go to a concert with Niou because his sister was not free and gave the tickets to him.
After the concert, he says he would like to buy some local products for his sister because she asked for them. He also says he should, to thank her for giving him the tickets. You comment that Niou is very close to his sister. And Summer agrees too, that's a very nice piece of info ♥
Niou also asks you to text your friend to ask her who are the popular boys in the various schools. Your friend mentions Atobe, Sengoku, Saeki, etc etc, I can't remember xD And your friend also mentions that the Rikkai tennis club has a lot of good-looking boys too.
7) His feelings
You spot Niou at the tennis courts and look on. Niou discovers you and you apologise, you hope you're not disturbing. Niou says you're not, and besides he's waiting for Yagyuu for practice. He says why not talk to him before Yagyuu arrives?
You comment that this is the first time you're seeing Niou at the tennis courts, and if Niou doesn't mind, you would like to watch. Niou says he would be happy if he had your support. He starts talking about how much he enjoys tennis, and also mentions that all the other (Rikkai) guys probably feel the same way too.
You say that it's really good that Niou has something he's so passionate about. He asks what about you? You say you're now very passionate about the representative's job. Niou says why not be passionate with things regarding him too?
You ask him to stop joking and change the topic. Niou says he's not joking, and you try to escape. Niou says he would be very lonely, but it can't be helped.
After you leave, Niou tells Yagyuu that it's okay to come out now. Yagyuu comments that you ran away, Niou asks what should he do? Yagyuu says that you're very dense regarding this, so Niou should 'attack directly!' Niou says that's impossible for him. (Oh, really?! xD) Yagyuu tells him that he already has no time. Niou sighs and says since it's his good friend's advice, he'll listen. Yagyuu laughs, saying that he'll give him his support from the shadows xD; BTW, remember Sanada's route? Yanagi helped him, and Yagyuu helps Niou for this, isn't this beautiful! TT_TT
8) More random scenes
- Niou asks if he can have a love-related talk with you and you comment if there's a girl that he has noticed? Niou gets a little upset (because you didn't notice he's talking about you!), you notice it but Niou tells you not to worry.
He asks if he can touch the top of your head, and you say okay if that would make him feel better. Niou comments that it's good that he can do this.
- You ask about Niou's hair color, and if it's natural. Niou tells you not to be too concerned about it. You comment that no matter what color his hair is, Niou-senpai is still Niou-senpai. He's touched/happy and says that he'll dye his hair whatever color you like xDD
9) Second date - Movie
- Night before
Niou calls you for a movie, and you ask if it's related to the school festival? Or did his sister give him tickets again? Niou says he just wants to ask you out.
- Movie
After the movie, Niou comments that you like this sort of movie right (I think it's fantasy, I can't remember ;;) You're amazed/surprised that he knows. Niou says that he's heard it from someone MUST BE RENJI! :D You apologise for it (probably because you feel like you've imposed on him) and Niou says it's okay, and he wanted to see something you liked. You go on commenting that but this is not a date? Niou laughs and says it is. You get embarrassed and Niou teases your blushing face, saying that it's really cute.
- Hair accessories
Niou follows you to buy an accessory for your hair. You choose a red barette with traditional flower patterns; Niou says it suits you. He helps you to put it on.
You then comment that perhaps Niou should get something too! Niou says his hair isn't that long. Anyhow, you pick a blue one for his rat-tail and he is surprised that you know his favourite color. You say really? You just thought it would really suit him. Niou says he'll treasure it.
10) Gakuensai
- Momoshiro
Momo's booth/attraction is a goldfish-scooping thing. And Niou says he doesn't wanna play, kthnxbai. Haha. Well, because he has goldfishes at home.. so. That's damn sweet, isn't it? :D
- Yuushi
Nothing much. But Niou called him 'Hyoutei's tensai-san' which I thought was kinda cool.
- Oishi
Just like how Eiji was to Yagyuu, Oishi was a little receptive towards Niou visiting his booth. Niou assures Oishi that this is him, and kinda like gives him advice. Oishi says is it good for Niou to tell him things like that? Niou comments that he'll just find new ways to trick them xD; Oishi says it's really difficult to tell if Niou is being serious, or just playing a fool.
Niou says that there is someone who saw through him though. (And that's you!) He talks to Oishi briefly about the Nationals. You comment that you would like to support him (and Rikkai) during the nationals. Niou says please do.
11) Confession
Niou says he has something to tell you and brings you to the fountain. He says he's really nervous now, and very unlike what a trickster would do huh. He asks you to turn behind. You asks what for, Niou insists. You turn, then ask if this is okay...? (a little annoyingly)
Niou asks you not to be angry as it would be very troublesome. He also asks you to understand and control yourself till he's done talking. You say isn't talking face-to-face better? Niou say no! If he meets your eyes, he'll get more anxious. He says it's better like that, so looking back is forbidden!
You relent, but comment that Niou's grip is too tight. He apologises and lets go a little. He adds that it's really nice to hold you like that...
You tell Niou if he keeps saying this, you'll force your way out. Niou says that's he's not going to let you go, not until you fall for him.
"What I'm feeling for you, I want you to feel the same. I want you to love me."
"This is not a joke,"
You comment that Niou is shaking.
"When it's not a joke, it's really difficult."
You confess your own feelings, that you like him, and since now he knows, you would really like to see his expression/emotions.
Niou still doesn't allow you to, he says he is too happy, and doesn't want to show his face.
"I really do like you..." he whispers.
12) Afterword...
This time Niou is teaching you darts. You do well, and asks if Niou can let go now? Apparently he's holding onto you while teaching. He says please let him continue since it's (darts) something he's good at.
"But my heart is beating really fast!" you say. And Niou says his is too, and asks you to listen. You comment that it really is beating very quickly and very loudly too. Niou says it's only natural since the girl he likes has her ears on his chest.
He hugs you, and you comment something about 'now it's a hug?' He says you feel nice, and you say that it's embarrassing; Niou comments that it's embarrassing for him too.

Anyway, I don't get him sometimes, he can be so forward at times, and so shy at others ;;
