Trip to central

Dec 08, 2007 23:32

Not Gakupuri because Desperate Housewives has been grabbing my attention instead xD;

I finally went to central which I've heard so much about it being filled with lots of Japanese-related items. Quite right there. The basement was FULL of Japanese-related snack stalls, like Nippon-ya which sells really cute and expensive snacks. I'll buy some and snap pictures when I get money xD;

We (my friends and I, you don't think I would go out alone right ;;) headed to Yamakawa Super, a more affordable (but still expensive) supermarket. Saw lots of different stuff, wine, curry, biscuits ♥ I even saw Fanta! I wanted to take a picture but the counter was too close by ^^; I didn't buy a lot because I'm not working this holiday TT_TT

Item #1

I was really really attracted by the pretty colors on the can. And my friend wanted to try it too xD; Soooo...
Anyway, the drink was green. (I was expecting yellow, to be honest, and was a little freaked out!) But it tasted better after a few mouthfuls, very unique, it's gas-y, well it is soda. I won't drink it again though. Should have gotten a peach drink, or fanta ;;

Item #2

This one's white chocolate between 2 thin wafers of biscuits. There was a milk chocolate one too, but I wasn't sure if this was good, so I only bought one. This is a replica of one of those things my sister brought back from her Hokkaido trip last year, shiro no koibito, or something ;; It's not as good, but still not bad! ^^

Item #3

I'm sure everyone knows Pocky right? I love Pocky! And I also love to try all the different flavours (I'm a bit doubtful of the coconut one I saw though >>) And the green tea one tasted weird. The taste of this marble one, taste like chocoalate? I think I prefer the normal one? xD;

Item #4

Most people will recognise this brand of chocolate, I suppose, at least the Singaporeans would. My friend gave it to me actually, because I told her I didn't like dark chocolate. I thought it's not bad. But.. I still don't like dark chocolate, actually, I don't even like chocolate :x I like chocolate cake, chocolate-coated biscuits, hot chocolate, chocolate drinks, BUT I don't like chocolate. Seriously, no, I'm not weird!

~

I hope I haven't bore you yet ^^; Because there's more..
I guess I'll shut up now and just post a picture and a short sentence.

Welcome to Singapore! This is Clarke Quay, a famous nightspot in Singapore. I took this from our window seat at the food court.

Kitsune udon that I had, not too bad. (Or maybe it's just because I was super hungry.)

Katsudon that my friend had.

Christmas tree outside central. Randomly, I hope the X'mas lightings at Orchard will be really pretty.

I wanted to write about my visit to Liang Court too, initially, but this is getting kinda long, maybe tmr XD;

I bought 40.5, I didn't think it would reach Singapore so fast ^^;

Rikkai. Sanada is all sorts of cool and amazing and hotness. After changing my favourite Rikkai characters so many times (From Sanada to Kirihara to Yanagi to Yagyuu to Niou..), I'm back at Sanada again xD; I love everyone in Rikkai, but Sanada ♥

St. Rudolph! ♥ ♥ ♥ I read theirs the first btw, because I haven't heard anything about them from the comm, greyhakuro did give me some info though.(Thanks!) Yanagisawa started saying 'dane' at the age of 2, Atsushi can spin at most 6 times (his special move), Yuuta has at least 10 kinds of pastries in his fridge. Mizuki has changed 6 computers so far.

Yamabuki. Who thought Sengoku was the vice-captain raise your hands!! *Summer raises her hand* What about all of you? NO! It's Higashikata!! xD; Much love for the Jimmies anyway. Have I ever mentioned I really liked the Higashikata actor in Tenimyu? xD; Okay, now you know.

I've new-found love for Minami Keisuke. xD

I enjoyed writing this entry xD; And I hope you'll enjoy reading it too! xD;

shopping, japan, tenimyu, rikkai, tenipuri, rudolph, food, photos
