Hey There!
My oh my, it sure has been a LONG time since I've updated this thing. Time gets away from you fast.
Well we've still got these damn hurricanes, I swear .. they are determined to hit Jacksonville. I think they get together and have meetings discussing where they wanna devestate this year. But so far we've been lucky and not had to deal with so much damage, or loss of life as some of the other places. A boy that lived not too far away from here was killed in Jeanne when a tree fell on him. He was 15. I didn't know him, but I know people who did. Our prayers are with his family ,and the other boy who got hurt.
Speaking of that. In Kentucky a girl I knew, who was 14 (her 15th birthday was the next day) was raped and killed by a 43 year old man. It devestated the town, you always see on the news and in movies "I never thought this would happen to me" or "I never thought this would happen in a small tight-knit community like this" Well everyone's wrong, it's happening everywhere now. It leads a lot of people to ask the question "What has the world come too?" I ask myself that quite often.
In terms of that, 2 other girls I know (from kentucky) where in a car wreck a couple of days ago. Left one of them in Vanderbilt, with 3 broken places in her spine and a whole in her heart and some of her other vital organs. She has to relearn to walk, and is having such bad panic and anxiety attacks they are thinking of putting her into a drug-induced coma, because her bloodpressure and heart rate skyrocket. Which is not good. The other girl, well she walked away. It's a rumor there had been drinking and I'm sure there was. But either way it's a shame.
Me and Ryan are not going out anymore (this has been along time) but I'm sure most of you already knew that. Me and Billy-Dale are trying it again. Who knows how it's going to work out. I just don't really know what to believe anymore. I mean when we're together things are great .. I think the world of him, but then when we're apart I get really scared -- and worry. He says there's nothing to worry about, but I mean we hardly ever spend time together .. there's always other people involved, or something else more important. I dunno though.
Grandma and Jacob were here a couple days ago .. they stayed 2 weeks! It was a great trip! it reminds me of how much I miss home, and my friends and family .. and realize that Florida will never compare!
Homecoming is the 16th. Should be interesting..Considering I still don't have my dress my hair appointment shoes .. or even a DATE! It's kind of up in the air, I'm trying to decide if I really wanna go .. which i think I do! So we'll see!
I don't know if you guys have been watching, but Iwatched Lagune Beach on MTV and I'm so jealous! Of how pretty those girls are .. and how RICH they are, and how hot Stephen is! I want a life like that .. like on the OC. I wanna move to Cali. Speaking of Cali .. JT! I love this boy! He is so great! Even though he makes me so mad that I see red and want to kill HIM I love him! He's my backbone, and he helps me through everything, even when he doesn't want too. When he would rather be out with his football friends .. doing his thang .. he's at home with me, watching Mean Girls because I'm sick! Thank-you for everything. I'm not saying you're right for everything that has been said and done, but I'm saying that you are my back bone and you are my strength, and I will never find anyone else like you! BELIEVE IT OR NOT!
Me and Sam went to the GATOR GAME Saturday .. had SO much fun! I ain't even kiddin'. Even though I'm not a gator fun (GO NOLES) I loved the game! Probably because I was with Sam, and we just had seuch a good time! I'm having such a hard time finding a dress .. Me and Lauryn and Sarah went to OP mall nothing .. then me and KD went to the Avenues .. NOTHING! So we're going to Regency one day .. I'm stressin'!
Sunday night I stayed the night @ Lauryn's. We lost power. It was me, Lauryn, Ms. Janet, Coach John, Jimmy, Sarah, John, Zach, Tony, and Tin-Tin (Justin). We had a blast! We played poker, Battle of the Sexes, Monopoly (THE GIRLS DOMINATED THAT NIGHT) And watched Mean Girls AND Everyone elses' transformers blow up .. and also tried to fly a kite! That was great!
But Lauryn .. know that I love you and I always will! NO MATTER what! You have been here for me through so much for a LONG time, and I don't know where I'd be with out you! Don't blame mine and Billy-Dale's problems on YOU! Good Luck with you and Pat! You're going to look even more gorgeous than you are onHomecoming night .. I can't wait to see you!
