We're all going to Kingston tomorrow. It's dh's b-day and he wanted to go somewhere but we can't go for long because of all the animals and we can't do something wild, spontaneous & extravagant like fly somewhere for the weekend because the bank account is relatively empty. So... Kingston it is. [shrug]
anyway. We're staying at the Holiday Inn by the water in Kingston. I'm going to see if I can book us into a haunted walk for Thurs. night, they're usually fun: get out of the hotel room, have a nice walk, learn some history. We've also got a couple of canoes reserved for Friday morning so we can tootle around Kingston Harbour & go out by the Fort, so that should be fun too.
Any suggestions of other fun stuff to do in Kingston? If I don't have specific plans the kids tend to gravitate to internet cafes so ideas for 13-17yr olds appreciated! The kids rolled their eyes when I suggested actually going into Fort Henry btw, so you see what I'm up against. lol.
Also, any ideas for good places to eat other than Chez Piggy?
