Am I insane or am I insane? The next two Saturdays are mandatory overtime days at work. And not just regular mandatory overtime of 6 hours. No, these are mandatory 8 hour shifts..two Saturdays in a row! Since I will be volunteering for animal care and control this Saturday morning, I can't work. So, next week I have to make up 8 hours of work and then after working 10-12 hour days...go in Saturday morning. If that isn't insane enough....I went in at 7:30 this morning and just got off work. They are crazy for overtime. My team is having a thing where if we get 7,000+ pieces of work done by this Friday...we get a $100 target giftcard each. Lord, I LOVEEEEEE target...I've lost track of how much I've had in giftcards from BCBS. Everytime I turn around....there's a $25 giftcard they're giving everyone..and cake.
This week is Customer Service Appreciation week at work. Claims is considered customer service...we got some cool picture frames with the date, time, day of the week, and temperature on them. Oh, and a nice pen. Last time they had it we got $35 gift cards to Publix. We get a surprise everyday. I wonder what tomorrow is?
My department has a new rule about calling out. You can't anymore! Well, you can but it's not considered a "call out". It's considered "pto". So, you could literally wake up one morning and call out for the rest of the week and go on vacation. No problem. Nothing counts against you anymore.

I have a B in one of my classes. I still have to take the final and possibly do an extra credit paper. I don't know what I have in the other class.....hopefully at least a B so I can get the full 100% reimbursement. But hey...a C is 80% reimbursement so...not too shabby.
