Friday night, me and new guy went to dinner with our roommate which happens to be his brother. His brother suggested a trip to Orlando the next morning for New Year's. So, sure enough at 7am we woke up and drove to Orlando. We picked up his girlfriend, who was home for the holidays, in Cocoa Beach and had the most awesome New Year's. We spent the afternoon at Islands of Adventure, then went to our hotel room and got dressed and ready for dinner. We went to Rangetsu which is a really popular and fancy Janpanese restaurant there. Afterwards, it was already 11pm so we didn't have much time to find a bottle of champagne. We managed to find some and get back to the hotel 5 minutes before the ball dropped. We stayed right by Universal on the sixth floor, so at midnight we had champagne and watched the fireworks go off. Then, we were really exhausted and went to bed at 12:15, haha. But, it was hella memorable and since I don't have to work until Tuesday I can party it up tonight.
