I like watching youtube videos of... interesting things, would be the best way to put it. Literally, anything that interests me, from rally racing to American soldiers dancing in the iraqi desert. Just now it was a clip from Casablanca, set to 'As Time Goes By' by ol' blue eyes, that turned into a tribute to Ingrid Bergman.
Odd how grainy black and white images can turn a girl from sweden into a starlight beauty. Or maybe it was the regal grace, so rare today, that glowed so radiantly from that face. The smile, so dazzling in its warmth, so disheartening because it's gone. Or maybe, Ingrid Bergman was simply of another class than we meek beings. Her, and Grace Kelly, and Audrey Hepburn, shooting stars all, flashing just as bright, and just as brief across our sky. It makes a man reconsider the smug baseness, comparatively speaking, of the busy souls that display themselves today.
