Sometimes wishes come true, but when they do, there is often a price.
Recently, a golden career opportunity fell from the clear blue sky and into my lap. After three years of pursuing a similar position, I stumbled upon this one as though it had been waiting for me to find it. Perhaps it had. This morning I accepted my dream job and made the difficult choice to close Sumbuns so I can focus on my new profession.
This decision was hard for me to make, because designing diapers and clothing is one of my passions. Sumbuns is my baby; I built it from the ground up, have overcome many obstacles, and have learned so much along the way. I owe it to myself, my family, and my new career path, however, to give this new job my all. Sumbuns will have to wait for a while.
At this point, I am not sure when Sumbuns will reopen, but I am estimating that it won’t be until next year. All current customs will be completed and I will still be taking on special requests in a very limited amount, but I will not be stocking my cart or working on non-custom orders at this time.
I appreciate the business of all our loyal customers, who have been so supportive of Sumbuns over the years. I will be sure to keep you all posted about the future of Sumbuns. Thank you for your support.
